Receiver/Dryer, Removing And Installing: Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

-- Replace the O-ring seals depending on the version.

-- Clean the condenser surface -C-.

-- Check the connections on the condenser and on the receiver/dryer for damage.

-- Insert the O-ring seals -D and E- into the grooves -arrows- on the respective connection.

NOTE:

Coat the O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil prior to installation, refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .

Inspect the refrigerant pipes leading to the evaporator for debris and damage.

Check O-ring seals for proper seating in groove -arrow- on the respective connection.

-- Mount the receiver/dryer -B- on the condenser and tighten the bolts.
