Overview - Exhaust Manifold

  1. Nut
    • Replacing
    • Coat the thread with hot bolt paste .
    • Tightening specification and sequence: left, refer to Fig 2, right, refer to Fig 3
  2. Bracket for Heat Shield
  3. Exhaust Manifold
  4. Seal
    • Replacing
  5. Heat Shield
  6. Bolt
    • 9 Nm
  7. Heated Oxygen Sensor
  8. Catalytic Converter
  9. Nut
    • 23 Nm
    • Replacing
    • Coat the thread with hot bolt paste .
  10. Seal
    • Replacing

NOTE:

Replace the nuts.

Coat the thread on the nut with hot bolt paste .

-- Tighten the nuts in 3 steps according to the tightening sequence:

Step Nuts Tightening Specification
1. -1 to 9- Install all the way in by hand.
2. -1 to 9- 15 Nm
3. -1 to 9- 25 Nm

NOTE:

Replace the nuts.

Coat the thread on the nut with hot bolt paste .

-- Tighten the nuts in 3 steps according to the tightening sequence:

Step Nuts Tightening Specification
1. -1 to 9- Install all the way in by hand.
2. -1 to 9- 15 Nm
3. -1 to 9- 25 Nm
