Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor/Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G62 - / -G694-, Removing And Installing: Removing

Audi S6/RS6/RS7: 

-- Remove the radiator, with the fan shroud, refer to Removing .

Audi S7: 

-- Remove the fan shroud, refer to Removing .

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-:

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

NOTE: Use a cloth to catch any leaking coolant.

-- Remove the bolt -2-, and remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.

NOTE: If an O-ring remains in the cylinder block, remove the O-ring with a wire.

Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G694-:

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

NOTE: Use a cloth to catch any leaking coolant.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G694-.

NOTE: If an O-ring remains in the cylinder block, remove the O-ring with a wire.
