Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the front bumper cover, refer to FRONT BUMPER .
-- Drain the coolant, refer to Draining .
There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.
- Disconnect the connectors before working near the fan shroud.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2- from the coolant fan.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air guide -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -1-.
-- Lift up the retaining clips -arrows- to remove the coolant line -1-.
-- Free up and remove the coolant lines on the radiator from the lock carrier.
-- Open the clamp -2- and disconnect the coolant hose.
-- Press the coolant hose toward the rear.
-- Release the retaining tabs -A arrows- and remove the left and right air ducts -1- upward -arrow B-.
-- Release the left and right radiator retaining pins and remove by pulling upward in direction of -arrows-.
-- Move the radiator slightly forward.
-- Press the fan shroud left and right locking tabs at the same time -arrow- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator.
