Lock Carrier, Removing And Installing, Vehicles From My 2015: Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to FRONT NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side impact bar. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the headlamps. Refer to [For engine(s) CTUA,CEUC,CRDB,CGXB,CPNB] Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the coolant cooler with fan shroud. Refer to [For engine(s) CEUC,CRDB] Radiator/Coolant Fan [For engine(s) CTUA,CGXB] Radiator/Coolant Fan [For engine(s) CPNB] Radiator/Coolant Fan .

-- Remove the screw -3-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the connector to the front Airbag Crash Sensor while observing the safety precautions. Refer to Safety Precautions .

-- Disconnect the connector -4- from the Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor -V101-, if equipped.

-- Press the release buttons and remove the secondary air hoses -1- and -2-.

-- Disconnect the hood lock cable at the coupling and place it on the lock carrier. Refer to OVERVIEW - RELEASE CABLE .

NOTE:

Ignore -item 3-.

-- Remove the screw -2-.

-- Hold the lock carrier -1- with a second technician and remove the bolts -3, 4 and 5-.

-- Remove the lock carrier and the impact member mounts with a second technician.
