Headlamp Spray Nozzle

Removal

-- Remove the headlamp housing: HID headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING , LED headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING .

-- Clamp off the windshield washer fluid hose -1- with hose clamps 3094.

-- Pull the spray nozzle telescope -2- all the way out of the bumper cover -arrow A-.

Hold the telescope in the pulled-out position.

-- Expand the side pieces -4- on the cover -1- for the spray nozzle -arrow B- and carefully disconnect it from the retaining pin -3- and remove it.

NOTE:

Lay a cloth under the point of separation to catch any washer fluid.

-- Loosen the clamp -1- on the left side of the vehicle and remove the windshield washer fluid hose -2- from the spray nozzle.

-- Open the clip on the right side of the vehicle and remove the windshield washer fluid hose from the spray nozzle.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and remove the spray nozzle -3-.

Installation

Tightening specification, refer to HEADLAMP WASHER FLUID HOSE, NOZZLE AND RESERVOIR OVERVIEW .

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections using standard hose clamps.

-- Install the clamp using V.A.G 1275.

-- Install the headlamp housing: HID headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING , LED headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING .
