Drain Pipe, Removing And Installing: Installing
- If the drain tube is replaced, the new part must be cut back to the corresponding length.
- If the removed drain pipe is not routed to the end of the clips (refer to REMOVING ) the new drain pipe must be cut to a longer length. For this at least 10 mm from the marking. Refer to REMOVING . The drain pipe may have a maximum projecting end of 12 mm on the end of the clips.
-- New part: cut the drain tube to the corresponding length and apply the marking using the removed drain pipe.
-- Apply the non-woven adhesive tape -7- on the marking -6- on the drain pipe -1-.
-- Cut the drain pipe -1- to the adjustment wire -9-.
- The adjustment wire -9- must be located under the guide -8-.
-- Push the drain pipe -1- in the catches -C arrows- and in the clip -5- until they click into place.
- When pressing in the catches -C arrows- it must be held from the rear.
- The end of the drain pipe must be located in the cut-out -arrow A- for this.
- The drain pipe -1- must in the installed position, be routed over the positioning tube -2- as shown.
-- Insert the drill bit -4- with a diameter of 13 mm between the drain pipe -1- and sunroof frame -arrow B-.
- The non-woven adhesive tape -7- contacts the clip -5-.
-- Wrap the drain pipe -1- and positioning tube -2- at the position, where the cable tie -arrow D- previously were with non-woven adhesive tape.
-- Secure the drain pipe -1- and adjustment tube -2- for the assembly with the non-woven adhesive tape on the sunroof frame.
