Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - EVAPORATOR HOUSING .
The smallest leaks at the tongue and groove joint between the upper and lower sections of the evaporator housing can lead to whistling noises due to escaping air. Coat the connecting surfaces lightly with, for example, silicone grease. Silicone grease.
-- Evacuate and charge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, DISCHARGING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, EVACUATING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a) (Refrigerant R134a Servicing, Refrigerant Circuit, Working with A/C Service Station) or REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, EVACUATING (R1234yf) / REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, CHARGING (R1234yf) .
-- Operate the A/C system after filling the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING OPERATION AFTER FILLING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
-- Check the DTC memory and erase any displayed entries using the :Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
