Attachments, Removing And Installing, AUDI RS5: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Bumper Cover End Plate

Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

-- Remove spoiler lip. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 => Spoiler Lip .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- .

-- Pull the front bumper cover noise insulation toward the rear.

Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER, AUDI RS5 .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the spoiler lip. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 => Spoiler Lip .

-- Install the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

Headlamp Washer System Spray Nozzle Cover

Removing

-- Fold the washer nozzle cover -1- upward -arrow A- .

-- Using a screwdriver on the inner side, pry the spray nozzle cover -1- off the mount -2- -arrow B- and disengage it at the opposite side.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Press the spray nozzle cover on until it engages audibly.

Spoiler Upper Section

Removing

-- Remove the air intake grille. Refer to AIR INTAKE GRILLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3- .

-- Remove the upper section of the spoiler -1- on the outside starting at the bumper -arrows- .

NOTE:

Remove front bumper cover noise insulation and release the retaining strap from the back side, but do not remove the upper section of the spoiler. Refer to Installing => Bumper Cover End Plate .

Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER, AUDI RS5 .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- During installing, the retaining tabs must engage completely in the bumper.

-- Install air intake grille. Refer to AIR INTAKE GRILLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 .

Spoiler Lower Section

Removing

-- Remove upper section of spoiler. Refer to Installing => Spoiler Upper Section .

-- Remove spoiler lip. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 => Spoiler Lip .

-- Remove the bolts -2- .

-- Remove the lower section of the spoiler -1- on the outside starting at the bumper -arrows- .

Installing

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER, AUDI RS5 .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- During installing, the retaining tabs must engage completely in the bumper.

-- Install the spoiler lip. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS5 => Spoiler Lip .

-- Install upper section of spoiler. Refer to Installing => Spoiler Upper Section .
