Hydraulic Oil Cooler, Removing And Installing, 8-Cylinder FSI, With Dynamic Steering: Installing
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:
-- The markings -2- on the hose line must point upward in the >>12 o'clock<< position.
CAUTION:
- When attaching the hose lines -1-, counter-hold on the pipe lines -4-.
-- Top off Hydraulic Oil.
-- Clean any oiled places.
-- Bleed the steering. Refer to STEERING, BLEEDING AFTER REPLACING .
-- Check power steering fluid level. Refer to POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .
-- Check all open line connections for leaks. Refer to STEERING, CHECKING FOR LEAKS .
-- Install the front lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .
NOTE:
Secure All Hose Connections With Hose Clamps Appropriate To The Model. Refer To The Parts Information..
