Turbocharger, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Two Turbochargers: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and O-rings.

Fill the turbocharger at the oil supply line connections with engine oil.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory. Refer to the Electronic Parts information (ETKA).

To ensure the turbocharger is supplied with enough oil, let the engine run at idle for approximately 1 minute after installing the turbocharger assembly. Do not increase the engine speed during this time.

-- Electrical connections and wiring routing. Refer to the Applicable Wiring Diagrams.

-- Install the front exhaust pipe.

-- Install the air guide pipe. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR SYSTEM, VEHICLES WITH TURBOCHARGER .

NOTE:

Do not reuse used coolant.

-- Fill the coolant COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
