Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144 , removing and installing

Removing

NOTE:

All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

Remove left rear wheel.
Remove left rear wheel housing liner →

Remove nuts - arrows -.
Detach leak detection pump with bracket.
Disconnect electrical connector - 3 - with ignition switched off.
Disconnect hose coupling - 4 - by pressing release button.

Cut cable ties - 1 - and disconnect the hose - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type .
During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

Secure hose - 2 - to bracket of leak detection pump with cable tie - 1 -.
