Bolt
- 24 Nm
- Steel bolts (M8; 63 mm long)
- Quantity: 2
Center Differential Housing
- With or without vibration dampener, depending on version
- Removing and installing, refer to TRANSMISSION
- For servicing, refer to CENTER DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING
Bolt
- Always replace
- 10 Nm plus an additional 90° turn
- Aluminum bolts (M8; 42 mm long)
- Quantity: 11
Pressure Spring
Plate Spring
- Installed position: The camber on the inner diameter faces the center differential housing
Adjusting Shim
- For bearing pre-loading the ball bearings for the center differential
- To select the correct thickness, refer to BEARING PRE-LOAD FOR BALL BEARINGS FOR THE CENTER DIFFERENTIAL, REDETERMINING
Center Differential
- Servicing only by the manufacturer
- Center differential bearing, servicing, refer to SPUR GEAR AND CENTER DIFFERENTIAL BEARING
Spacer Sleeve

- Pay attention to the installed position to the transmission cover GEAR CARRIER -1- ON THE TRANSMISSION COVER AS FOLLOWS:
