1. Y pipe
   • Original equipment as one unit with rear mufflers.
   • in case of repairs, Y pipe, rear muffler and tailpipe should be replaced individually
   • Separating point between Y pipe and rear muffler, refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
   • Align the exhaust system free of tension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
2. Rear Muffler
   • Original equipment as one unit with Y pipe
   • in case of repairs, Y pipe, rear muffler and tailpipe should be replaced individually
   • Separating point between Y pipe and rear muffler, refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS, SEPARATING .
   • separating point between the rear muffler and the tailpipe, refer to TAIL PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
   • Align the exhaust system free of tension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
3. Seal
   • Replace
4. Particulate Filter
   • with catalytic converter
   • Removing and installing, refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODE CDUD .
   • After replacing, perform an Adaptation  in Guided Functions  =>
5. Nut
   • Replace
   • Coat the thread with hot bolt paste .
   • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
6. Seal
   • Replace
7. Turbocharger
8. Nut
   • Replace
   • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
9. Front clamping sleeve
   • Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
   • Installed position Fig 2
   • Tighten threaded connections evenly.
10. Nut
    • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
11. Front exhaust pipe
    • With decoupling element, decoupling element must not be bent more than 10° - otherwise it may be damaged
    • Protect from shocks and impact stress
    • Removing and installing, refer to FRONT EXHAUST PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODES CDUD, CTBA AND CTBC .
    • Install exhaust system with separating point free of tension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
12. Bolt
    • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
13. Tail Pipe
    • Replacing, refer to TAIL PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
14. Suspended Mount
    • Replace if damaged
    • Check pretension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
15. Nut
    • Tightening specification: 20 Nm
16. Rear Clamping Sleeve
    • For individual replacement of Y pipe and rear mufflers
    • Before tightening, align exhaust system free of tension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
    • Installed position Fig 3
    • Tighten threaded connections evenly.
17. Nut
    • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
18. Nut
    • Replace
    • Tightening specification: 23 Nm
19. Bolt
    • Tightening specification Fig 5.
20. Suspended Mount
    • Replace if damaged
    • Individual component, refer to Fig 5
    • Check pretension, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

-- Install the clamping sleeve so that the ends of the bolt do not extend beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

• Threaded connection point left

-- Install double clamps so that the bolt ends do not project over lower edge of double clamp.

• Installed position: the threaded connectors face forward.
