Tail Pipes, Replacing

- There is a separating point on each tailpipe if the tailpipe needs to be removed.
- The separating point is marked by a depression around the circumference of the exhaust pipe.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Chain Pipe Cutter VAS6254
Procedure
Vehicles with standard tailpipes:
-- Separate the tail pipe at a right angle at the separating point -arrow- using a Chain Pipe Cutter VAS6254.
Vehicles with Double Tail Pipes
-- Separate the tail pipe at a right angle at the applicable separating point -arrows- using a Chain Pipe Cutter VAS6254.
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Slide the exhaust pipe(s) and secure with a clamp.
-- Check the distance between the tailpipe and the bumper, refer to TAIL PIPES, ALIGNING .
