Accelerator Pedal Position Sensors -G79- / -G185-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Tightening specification, refer to OVERVIEW - ACCELERATOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
-- Engage the accelerator pedal module -4- on the bottom of the pedal bracket -1-, insert the centering pin -2- and tighten the bolt -3-.
-- Install the lower instrument panel cover on the driver side, refer to OVERVIEW - DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER .
-- On vehicles with S tronic transmission or automatic transmission, perform "Kick-down adaptation" in "Guided Functions" after replacing, refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
