Balance Shaft, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to OVERVIEW - BALANCE SHAFT .

Secure crankshaft -1- in Top Dead Center (TDC) position using Locking Pin For Crankshaft T40237.

NOTE:

Replace the balance shaft.

-- Install camshaft timing chain, refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the timing chain cover lower section, refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the belt pulley side sealing flange, refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
