Overview - Balance Shaft

- Bolt
- Tightening specification: 9 Nm
- Insert with locking compound .
- Gear Carrier
- Bolt
- Tightening specification: 23 Nm
- Nut
- 30 Nm + an additional 90° turn
- When loosening or tightening, use the Diesel Injection Pump Locking Pin 3359 as a counterhold tool.
- After loosening the nut, the balance shaft must be replaced

- Roller Bearing
- Replacing, refer to BALANCE SHAFT ROLLER BEARING, REPLACING .
- Balance Shaft
- Removing and installing, refer to BALANCE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After loosening the nut -4-, the balance shaft must be replaced
- Bolt
- Tightening specification: 60 Nm
- When loosening or tightening, use the Diesel Injection Pump Locking Pin 3359 as a counterhold tool.

- Belt pulley side
- Roller Bearing
- Replacing, refer to BALANCE SHAFT ROLLER BEARING, REPLACING .
