Shaft Seals On Transmission Overview

The shaft seals -A- and -B- can only be replaced after the transmission has been removed. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
The shaft seals -C-, -D- and -E- can be replaced with the transmission installed.
NOTE:
When replacing the final drive cover -2-, the bearing pre-load for the tapered roller bearing on the differential has to be adjusted. Refer to FINAL DRIVE COVER .
