ATF Pipes, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 3.0L TFSI Engine: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications:

Tightening specifications, refer to OVERVIEW - ATF CIRCUIT .

NOTE:

Replace the O-rings.

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the transmission.

When disassembling, remove all the plugs, which were taken from the Engine Plug Set VAS6122, on the ATF pipes and on the transmission.
The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

-- First insert the ATF pipes into the transmission and radiator by hand as far as the stop and then bolt them on.

-- Check and adjust the ATF level after installing the transmission, refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING .
