Seat Forward/Back Adjustment Motor, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:
- Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
-- Remove the front seat:
- Standard and Sport Power Seat, Comfort Seat and Super Sport Seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, POWER .
-- Attach the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair FixtureVAS6136. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .
NOTE:
The upper and lower seat pan frames can only be separated and connected when the padding is removed.
The seat position sensor must be installed in the new seat pan lower frame.
-- Remove the seat position sensor:
- SEAT POSITION SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, WITH PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM SENSOR FOR BELT FASTENING DETECTION .
- SEAT POSITION SENSOR WITH PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER AIRBAG DEACTIVATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Separate the seat pan upper frame from the lower frame. Refer to SEAT PAN, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING - "Separating the upper frame from the lower frame" (See Figure).
