ATF Lines, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 2.0L TDI Engine Or 6-Cylinder Engine: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to the transmission.

  • Remove all the plugs on the ATF pipes and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
  • The ATF cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.

-- After installing transmission, check ATF level and correct AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID .
