Differential, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the differential -arrow-.

-- Install the final drive cover with a new o-ring and tighten the bolts -arrows-. Tightening specification. Refer to -item 8- Bolt (See Figure).

-- Install the right flange shaft. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING - "Install The Right Flange Shaft".

NOTE:

If removed install the left flange shaft. Refer to LEFT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- After installing the transmission, put transmission fluid in transmission and check the fluid level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING . Remove the oil filler plug -arrow- to do this.
