Transmission Side Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Oil Side Sealing Lip: Removing

- Non-hybrid vehicles: transmission removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
- Hybrid vehicles: engine is removed and is secured on the Engine and Transmission Holder - VAS6095A-. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .
- Remove the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Unhook the intermediate plate from the sealing flange and at the alignment sleeves -arrows-.
- Remove the bolts -1 through 8-. (There is also equipment with only six bolts depending on the version).
- Pry out the sealing flange.
