Trunk lid contact switch, removing and installing

Removing

Remove trunk lid lock.

Pry off plastic catch -3- from retaining bolts -1- using a flat screwdriver.
Bend plastic tab fully to rear.
Pull contact switch -2- first to the side and then upward out of trunk lid lock.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

NOTE: Make sure that the washers between plastic catches and trunk lid lock have proper seating.
