Reading measured value block

Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics" → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 or scan tool V.A.G 1551 , connecting .
Press → key.

Indicated on display (function selection): Vehicle system - test HELP Select function XX

Press keys 0 and 8 for the function "Read measured value block".
Confirm entry with Q key.

Indicated on display: Read measured value block HELP Enter display group number XXX

Press keys 0, 0 and 8.
Confirm entry with Q key.

		Vacuum Vacuum measured at brake booster unit			Display for ventilated brake booster unit approx. 960, for evacuated brake booster unit approx. 450, depending on ambient pressure.
	Vacuum pump Pump off Pump on			If pump does not run although display shows "Pump on" conduct fault finding according to current flow diagram.
Brake pedal: Brake pedal not depressed Brake pedal depressed			In the event of any deviations check brake light switch.
