Differential, removing and installing

NOTE: The differential can be removed and installed with the transmission installed.

1 - Bolt, 10 Nm and turn 90 ° further

2 - Flanged shaft

When removing, secure with a drift to prevent it turning

3 - Bolt, 25 Nm

10 pieces

4 - Final drive cover

Removing and installing speedometer trigger wheel. Refer to Trigger wheel for speedometer vehicle speed sensor -G22-, removing and installing
If replaced: Adjust ring gear. Refer to Ring gear, adjusting

5 - Oil filler plug, 40 Nm

Checking gear oil. Refer to Transmission oil level, checking

6 - Differential

Disassembling and assembling. Refer to Differential, disassembling and assembling
If replaced: Adjust ring gear. Refer to Ring gear, adjusting

7 - Transmission housing

Servicing. Refer to Transmission housing, servicing
