5th and 6th gear, removing and installing

1 - 1st inner race for four-point bearing
2 - Needle bearing for 5th gear
3 - Inner race for 5th sliding gear
4 - 5th sliding gear
5 - Spring pin
6 - Follower for 5th and 6th gear
- Only replace complete with selector rod for 5th and 6th gear -Item 8- 5th and 6th gear, removing and installing
- Pulling off. Refer to Figure
7 - Selector fork, 5th and 6th gear
- Can be replaced separately
8 - Selector rod for 5th and 6th gear
- Only replace complete with follower for 5th and 6th gear
- Removing. Refer to Figure
- Installing. Refer to Figure
9 - Locking collar/synchro-hub for 5th and 6th gear
10 - Circlip
- Re-determining thickness. Refer to Figure
11 - 5th gear wheel
12 - 6th sliding gear
- Pull off together with synchro-hub and inner race for 5th gear. Refer to Figure
13 - Needle bearing
- For 6th gear
14 - Thrust washer
- For needle bearing for 6th sliding gear
- Installation position: Grooves face circlip, smooth face contact surface toward needle bearing
15 - Circlip
16 - Inner race
- For cylinder roller bearing
- Remove by hand. Refer to Figure
17 - Washer
- Re-determining thickness. Refer to Figure
18 - Spacer sleeve
- Length 39.6 mm
19 - 6th gear wheel
- To press off, remove bearing plate. Refer to Figure
- Pressing off. Refer to Figure
- Pressing on. Refer to Assembling
