Ribbed Belt, Vehicles With Hydraulic Power Steering: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to RIBBED BELT DRIVE, VEHICLES WITH HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING OVERVIEW .

-- Place the ribbed belt over the pulley as illustrated.

Generator
Idler roller
Coolant pump
Power steering pump
A/C Compressor
Ribbed belt tensioning damper
Vibration damper

NOTE:

When installing the ribbed belt, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.

-- Start the engine and check the belt routing.

-- Install the compressor ribbed belt. Refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT .
