Operation 3: Adapting the throttle valve control module to the engine control module

Test conditions
- Engine stopped, ignition switched on
Display on VAS5051:
- Under -1- select diagnostic function "04 - Basic setting".
Display on VAS5051:
1 - Enter display group
- Enter "060" for "display group number 060" in zone -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.
Display on VAS5051:
- Activate basic setting by pressing -A- button.
- Check indication in display fields -3- and -4-.

Note on display zone 3:
During adaptation, various digits are displayed in display zone 3 which represent the relevant adaptation status. The most crucial factor is not the way in which the adaptation stage counter (display zone 3) behaves during the adaptation process, but that the specification "ADP OK" is displayed after adaptation in display zone 4.
If specification "ADP OK" is obtained:
- Press ← button.
- Perform next operation.
