Overview - Heater And A/C Unit, CLIMATRONIC

Perform The Following Before Working On The Electrical System:
- Turn off all electric consumers.
- Turn off the ignition.
- Remove the key.
NOTE:
Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
Under certain conditions, the dryer bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
- Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- with Climatronic Control Module -J255-
- Left Front Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor -G385-
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G386- AND LEFT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G385-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Left Actuators
- Arrangement of the control motors at the heating and Air Conditioning (A/C) unit. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEATER AND A/C UNIT ACTUATORS
- Upper Part of the Distribution Box
- Right Actuators
- Arrangement of the control motors at the heating and A/C unit. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEATER AND A/C UNIT ACTUATORS
- Evaporator Temperature Sensor -G308-
- Removing and installing. Refer to EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G308-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Hose for Glove Compartment Cooling
- Right Front Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor -G386-
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G386- AND LEFT FRONT UPPER BODY VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G385-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Fresh Air Blower -V2-
- Removing and installing. Refer to FRESH AIR BLOWER -V2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Fresh/Recirculated Air Door Motor -V154-
- Removing and installing. Refer to FRESH AIR/RECIRCULATING AIR/BACK PRESSURE DOOR MOTOR -V425-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Dust and Pollen Filter with Activated Charcoal Filter
- Removing and installing. Refer to DUST AND POLLEN FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Front Passenger Side Footwell Vent
- Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Right Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G262-
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT FOOTWELL VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G262-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Heat Exchanger
- Removing and installing. Refer to HEATER CORE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-
Removing and Installing. Refer to AUXILIARY HEATER HEATING ELEMENT -Z35-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Driver Side Footwell Vent
- Removing and installing. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261-
- Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT FOOTWELL VENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR -G261-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
