Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) sensors must be calibrated after:
- Removing, installing or replacing a Distance Regulation Control Module -J428-,
- Every removal and installation, and replacement of assembly carrier,
- If there is a suspicion of forceful impact on these two parts, an accident during driving or similar.
Calibrating the distance regulation (ACC). Refer to DISTANCE REGULATION (ACC), CALIBRATING .
-- Adapt the ACC when first using or replacing the Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- or Distance Regulation Control Module 2 -J850-. Refer to AUTOMATIC DISTANCE REGULATION, INITIALIZING .
NOTE:
The stud bolts in the bracket are pre-set. Correct the setting only if necessary.
Replace the clip if the adjusting screw was removed. Refer to REMOVE THE CLIP ON THE DISTANCE REGULATION CONTROL MODULE -J428- "MASTER", DISTANCE REGULATION CONTROL MODULE 2 -J850- "SLAVE" .
