Nut
- 500 Nm
- Always replace if removed
Outer CV Joint
- Replace only as a complete unit.
- Checking. Refer to OUTER JOINT, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing. Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER CV JOINT .
- For the allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
Circlip
- Always replace if removed
- Insert in shaft groove
Clamp
- Always replace if removed
- Tensioning. Refer to TIGHTENING THE TENSIONING CLAMP ON THE LARGER DIAMETER .
CV Boot
- Check for tears and scuffing
- Material: Hytrel polyelastomer
Clamp
- Always replace if removed
- Tensioning. Refer to TENSIONING CLAMP ON SMALL DIAMETER .
Drive Axle
- For the allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
Internal Multi-Point Bolt
- 50 Nm + 90°
- Always replace if removed
Backing Plate
Clamp
- Always replace if removed
- Tensioning. Refer to TENSIONING CLAMP ON SMALL DIAMETER .
CV Boot
- Check for tears and scuffing
- Material: Hytrel polyelastomer
Clamp
- Always replace if removed
- Tensioning. Refer to TIGHTENING THE TENSIONING CLAMP ON THE LARGER DIAMETER .
Inner CV Joint
- Replace only as a complete unit.
- Removing and installing. Refer to REMOVING THE INNER CV JOINT .
- For the allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
Circlip
- Always replace if removed
- Insert in shaft groove
Cover
- Always replace if removed
