Work Procedure

-- Separate the exhaust pipes at the separating points -arrow- using a :VAS6254 .

-- When installing, position clamping sleeves -arrows- centrally on separation point.

-- Install double clamps so that the bolt ends do not project over lower edge of double clamp. The clamping sleeve must not touch other components, even at extreme movements of the exhaust system.

Tightening specification: 35 Nm.

-- Install the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
