-- Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR .
-- Remove the EGR Cooler Pump -V400-. Refer to EGR Cooler Pump -V400-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -1- and remove the exhaust gas recirculation coolant thermostat and connection from the thermostat and connection.
Ignore -items 2 and 3-.

-- Disconnect the starter connector -2-.
-- Remove the nut -1- and then remove the battery positive wire form the threaded pin on the starter.
-- Support the engine in its installed position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .
-- Pre-tension the engine slightly using the engine support bridge spindles.
-- Remove the nut -1- on the right longitudinal member and disconnect the ground connection.
-- Remove the bolts and nuts -1 through 5- and remove the right engine support upward.
-- Remove the bolt -1-.
-- Remove the coolant hose -arrow- from the right coolant pipe by lifting the retaining clamp.
-- Using a Wrench - Pin Type:3212 as a counterholder, remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley.
-- Remove the bolt -1- and nut -2-.
-- Remove the right coolant pipe forward from the cylinder block.
