Rear Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING .

-- Remove the turbocharger. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .

-- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM COMPONENTS .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 3- ; then push the left coolant pipe on the back of the transmission downward.

NOTE:

The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

Ignore -2 and 4- and -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4- from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and remove the rear coolant pipe from the exhaust gas recirculation cooler.

-- Loosen the clamp -3- and remove the rear coolant pipe.
