Thermostat With Connection, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -1- and pull the EGR thermostat off of the connection.

NOTE:

Ignore -items 2 and 3-.

-- Loosen the clamp -1- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the coolant thermostat with the connection.
