Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following :

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - OIL PAN/OIL PUMP .

NOTE:

Replace The Seals And O-Rings.

Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Make sure both alignment sleeves for centering are inside the cylinder block or oil pan upper section. Install them if they are missing.

-- Install the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the oil pan lower section. Refer to Installing .

-- Install the spur gear unit. Refer to SPUR GEAR DRIVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
