Oil Spray Jets/Valves, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the intake manifold upper section. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the vacuum hoses -2 and 3- and remove the change-over valve -1- from the bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the vacuum reservoir.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -arrows- and the bracket -1- for the vacuum reservoir.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

CAUTION:

Danger Of Defects Caused By Dirt.

Follow the guidelines for cleanliness when working on the fuel supply system. Refer to PARKING/AUXILIARY HEATER AND FUEL SYSTEM CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Counterhold the hex with an open-end wrench, loosen the union nuts and remove the left and right high pressure line from the connections -arrows- on the fuel rail.

-- Remove the high pressure line.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the bracket and change-over valve to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the cover and the crankcase ventilation hose -1-.

-- Remove the seal.

-- Remove the spray nozzle valve -arrow-.
