-- Remove the supercharger ribbed belt. Refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

The engine is not shown in the following illustrations.

-- Remove the bolt -2- on the left front coolant pipes.

NOTE:

Ignore item -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- on the left front coolant pipes.

NOTE:

Ignore items -1 and 3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- for the left front coolant pipes.

NOTE:

Ignore the -arrows-.

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the left and right bolts -1- and remove the radiator console with the radiator from the lock carrier -arrow-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Open the retainer in direction of -arrow A-, remove the Coolant Fan Control Module 2 - J671- -1- from the fan shroud in direction of -arrow B- and move it to the side.

-- Pivot the tensioner clockwise -arrow- to release the tension on the ribbed belt.

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the vibration damper and release the tension on the tensioning element.

Vehicles with Electro-Mechanical Power Steering

-- Pivot the tensioner clockwise -arrow- to release the tension on the ribbed belt.

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the vibration damper and release the tension on the tensioning element.

NOTE:

Ignore the Locking Pin T10060A.

Continuation for All Vehicles

-- Counterhold with the Wrench - Pin Type 3036 and remove the bolts -1- vibration damper.

-- Remove the vibration damper.
