Headlamp Housing, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Through My 2012: Installing

For the correct tightening specification, refer to OVERVIEW - HEADLAMP, HALOGEN HEADLAMPS, THROUGH MY 2012 and OVERVIEW - HEADLAMP, HEADLAMP MOUNT THROUGH MY 2012 .

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

-- Install the headlamp housing -3- and bracket onto the lock carrier and the fender.

-- Install the screws -1, 2, 4 and 5- hand-tight.

The guide tab -arrow B- on the headlamp housing bracket -1- must fit into the opening on the lock carrier -3-.

The guides -2- and -4- must fit into the mounts -arrow A-.

-- Install the front bumper cover, refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - FRONT BUMPER COVER .

-- Align the headlamp housing gap -3- dimensions according to the body contours.

Gap dimension = even gap dimension.

-- If a height adjustment is needed, twist the nut on -1-.

-- Remove the front bumper cover, refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - FRONT BUMPER COVER .

-- Tighten the bolts -1, 2, 4 and 5-.

-- Install the front bumper cover, refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - FRONT BUMPER COVER .

-- Check gap dimensions again. If necessary, repeat the adjustment of the gap dimensions as described above.

-- Adjust the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING .
