Removing cover and padding from backrest frame

1 - Cover and padding
- Removing
- Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .
- Remove head restraints → Head restraint with slide-in locking mechanism, removing and installing .
- Remove head restraint guides → Head restraint guides, removing and installing .
- Remove easy-entry facility handle → Easy-entry facility handle, removing and installing .
- Remove easy-entry facility trim → Removing and installing easy-entry facility trim .
- Remove backrest panel → Backrest cover panel, removing and installing .
- Pry out staples - 4 - (4x) on left and right.
- Remove velcro strips - 5 - (4x) on left and right.
- Open cable tie - 8 -.
- Remove heated backrest cable - 6 -.
- Disengage piping on side - 2 - (2x).
- Pry out piping at bottom - 3 - (3x).
- Remove side airbag → Side airbag (sports seat, standard seat), removing and installing .
- Pry out plastic tabs -7- (5x).
- Pry out staples - 9 - (3x).
- Remove padding with cover.
- Installing
- Installation is in reverse order of removal.

- Only use upholstery stapler.
5 - Velcro strips (4x) on left and right
6 - Heated backrest cable
7 - Plastic tabs (5x)
8 - Cable tie
