Installation position: Shoulder on bearing outer race faces toward drive pinion face.

Place tube VW 415 A smaller outer diameter on bearing inner race.
Press double angular contact ball bearing on down to stop.

When replacing drive pinion (gear set), you must redetermine the shim " S ₅ " → Shim " S 5 " for positioning inner race/tapered ball bearing, redetermining .
