Transmission cover and Torsen differential, assembly overview

1 - Transmission cover
- With or without vibration damper, depending on design
- Removing and installing (transmission removed) → Transmission cover (transmission removed), removing and installing
- Removing and installing (transmission installed) → Transmission cover (transmission installed), removing and installing
- Dismantling and assembling → Transmission cover, dismantling and assembling
2 - Bolt, 24 Nm
- 6 x
3 - Dished spring
- Installation position: larger diameter (concave side) faces shim
4 - Shim
5 - Spring
6 - O-ring
- Always replace
- Lubricate with gear oil before installing.
7 - Torsen differential
- Can only be serviced by manufacturer
