Transmission cover (transmission removed), removing and installing

Removing

Mount transmission on assembly stand → Mounting transmission on assembly stand
Place drip tray V.A.G1306 under transmission.
Drain off gear oil.
Unscrew bolts - arrows - and pull off transmission cover.

Installing

NOTE:

Replace O-rings.

Replace O-ring on transmission housing.
Install transmission cover and tighten bolts - arrows -.
Fill up with gear oil and check gear oil level → Transmission gear oil, checking level .

Tightening torque
