1 - Mounting bracket

• Removing and installing → Master cylinder, removing and installing 

2 - Pivot pin for clutch and brake pedal

3 - Retaining clip

4 - Hex socket head bolt, 25 Nm

5 - Brake pedal

• Maintenance-free bearing, do not grease

6 - Clutch pedal switch F36

• Removing and installing → Clutch pedal switch F36, removing and installing 
• Can only be installed once
• Replace

7 - Hex socket head bolt, 5 Nm

• Secures clutch and brake pedal pivot pin

8 - Clutch pedal

• Removing and installing → Master cylinder, removing and installing 

9 - Retaining clip

10 - Retaining clip

11 - Hex socket head bolt, 20 Nm

12 - Master cylinder

• Removing and installing → Master cylinder, removing and installing 
• Gasket - arrow  - must not be removed

13 - Over-center spring

• Black side points toward clutch pedal
• Removing and installing → Over-center spring, removing and installing 

14 - Clutch Pedal Starter Interlock Switch F194

• USA models and vehicles with 3.2liter. FSI engine only
• Engine can only be started when clutch is fully depressed (switch activated).
• Removing and installing → Clutch Pedal Starter Interlock Switch F194, removing and installing 
• Replace

• Can only be installed once

15 - Torx bolt, 25Nm

• For securing brake master cylinder/brake servo to mounting bracket
