Headlamp Housing Mount Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the headlamp housing:
- Halogen headlamps: Vehicles through MY 2011, USA through MY 2012: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HALOGEN HEADLAMP ; Vehicles from MY 2012, USA from MY 2013: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HALOGEN HEADLAMP .
- HID headlamps: Vehicles through MY 2011: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMPS ; USA vehicles through MY 2012: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMP ; Vehicles from MY 2012, USA from MY 2013: Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HID HEADLAMP .
-- Remove the headlamp washer system spray novel, if equipped. Refer to SPRAY NOZZLES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CAEB, CPMA, CPMB, CAED, CCBA, CGXC, CTUB] , Audi RS 5 SPRAY NOZZLES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CFSA] .
-- Disconnect The Connector On The Front Airbag Crash Sensor. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - AIRBAG CRASH SENSORS / DRIVER FRONT AIRBAG CRASH SENSOR -G283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the screws -1, 2 and 3-.
-- Release the tab -5- -arrow- and remove the bracket -4- from the lock carrier.
-- If the bracket is replaced:
- Remove the headlamp housing mount. Refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Disconnect the front airbag crash sensor. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - AIRBAG CRASH SENSORS / DRIVER FRONT AIRBAG CRASH SENSOR -G283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
