Starter, Removing And Installing [CCBA, CGXC, CTUB]: Installing

- Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - STARTER [CAEB, CPMA, CPMB, CAED, CCBA, CGXC, CTUB] .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:
-- If the vehicle has a multitronic transmission, make sure the seal -1- fits correctly inside the starter opening before installing the starter.
- The sealing piece must cover the opening for the starter -2- -arrow-.
-- Install the engine support and the right engine mount. Refer to SUBFRAME MOUNT .
With manual/multitronic transmission:
-- Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to appropriate service information. .
NOTE:
To replace the exhaust manifold gasket, the exhaust manifold must be removed. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING .
-- Install the right front muffler. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING .
-- Install the plenum chamber bulkhead. Refer to BULKHEAD .
All Vehicles:
-- Connect the battery. Required actions. Refer to CONNECTING .
