Supercharger, Removing And Installing: Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUPERCHARGER .

Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace the seals.

The hose connections as well as the air duct pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that are specific to that model. Refer to the Parts Information.

In order to be able to securely mount the air guide hoses on their connectors, spray the screws on the previously used clamps with a rust remover.

-- Make sure the crankcase ventilation support is installed correctly when mounting the compressor. Refer to Fig 1.

-- Install the supercharger ribbed belt. Refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING, LOW TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT .
