Fuel Injector Cleaner G17 Mixture, Reading Measured Values

The measured values needed will be erased when the DTC memory is cleared.

The DTC memory is not erased.

-- Connect VAS 50XX/61XX. Refer to VEHICLE TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Perform The Following On The Diagnostic Tester:

Guided Functions
Vehicle brand and type
Functions
Select the engine electronics or the name of the injection and ignition system.
Read the measured values
Long term mixture composition, bank 1 (4-cylinder engines)
Long term mixture composition, bank 1 and bank 3 (V6 and V8 engines)

-- Press Complete .

-- Press Read .

-- Continue to the test plan.

-- Evaluate the values.

If the value < 15 %: add fuel injector cleaner G17 according to the chart. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER G17 .

If the displayed value shows a difference> 15 %: increase the amount of fuel injector cleaner G17 by a factor of 4. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER G17 .

CAUTION:

If A Deviation Of > 15% Is Repeated, Then A Repair Is Necessary.
